The Project Manager

The PROJECT MANAGER is the command center where you can

• browse your computer for sample files and metadata files
• open and view sample files
• assemble two or more sample files
• select a name for the current project
• add samples to the current project
• delete files from the current project
• view a summary of the assembly process
• set the sequence trimming and sequence assembly parameters

The PROJECT MANAGER has five tabs as shown in the screenshot below:

• the PROJECT BUILDER tab
• the PROJECT OPTIONS tab
• the BATCH ASSEMBLY PARAMETERS tab
• the ASSEMBLY SETTINGS tab
• the LOG tab

Notes

• When DNA Baser starts, the PROJECT MANAGER window is open by default.
• If the PROJECT MANAGER window is not visible on screen, you can bring it on top by pressing the "View->Project Manager" menu, or the F8 key on your keyboard.
• You cannot close the PROJECT MANAGER - you can only minimize it.
