Master computer

The master computer is the computer on which DNA Baser Master software is running. You can have ONLY one master computer in your network!

Client computer

A client computer is a computer on which DNA Baser Client software is running. All clients connect to the Master to retrieve a key.

DNA Baser Master

DNA Baser Master - Is one of the components of the DNA Baser Network edition. It cannot be used for productivity (for sequence assembly). Its only purpose is to offer keys to all client computers. You can run ONLY one instance of DNA Baser Master in your network!

DNA Baser Client

DNA Baser Client - Is one of the components of the DNA Baser Network edition. Is the actual software used for sequence assembly. Exception the fact that it gets its license key from the Master computer, it is identical with DNA Baser Single User edition.

You can run DNA Baser Master and Client on the same computer.
