Description

DNA Nucleotide Counter is a freeware tool that shows the proportions of A,C G, T nucleotides and CG, AT nucleotides in a DNA sequence.

How to use it

Start DNA Nucleotide Counter. Paste your DNA sequence into the program. Press the ‘Start’ button. DNA Nucleotide Counter will show you the percent of A, G, G and T bases and the proportion between AT and CG bases.

How to install it

DNA Nucleotide Counter is delivered in a DNA Baser package together with other free molecular biology tools. Download the package and double click it. The programs inside the package will be extracted to the destination folder (specified by you). Go to the destination folder and double click the program you want to use.

It installs in any computer even if you don't have administrator rights!

Portability

This software tool is really small so you can easily copy it on a floppy disk or USB flash stick and take it with you or send it to your colleagues via email.

System requirements

DNA Nucleotide Counter can run on any version of Windows from Windows 98 to Windows 7 and also on Mac via Parallels or Bootcamp. It does not install additional libraries, updates, DLL, Java or registry keys into your system.
